fuAI
Take back control of what you see online.
An ad blocker for AI content. fuAI finds evidence that an image or video was made with AI, then labels it, blurs it, or hides it, right in your feed.
This is your feed.
This is your feed on fuAI.
01 · Three modes, one click
You decide what happens to it.
Pause it on any site, or turn it off everywhere. Alt+Shift+A toggles it. Every flag comes with an evidence card that says why.
02 · Evidence, not guesses
It shows its work.
fuAI never blends its reasons into one made-up percentage. Here is one real image, taken apart the way fuAI reads it, strongest evidence first.
-
AI · Verified
Signed
Content Credentials (C2PA) from trusted creators such as OpenAI, Google or Adobe say the image was made or edited with generative AI, and the signature checks out.
In this copy: gone. Resizing stripped the signature, the way most re-uploads do.
-
AI · Disclosed
Declared
The platform labels it, like YouTube's "Made with AI", or the file's own metadata says so.
In this copy: found. The file's metadata says "Made with Google AI".
-
AI · Likely
Detected
An on-device model looks at the pixels for patterns typical of AI generators, in images and in sampled video frames.
Used when there is no stronger evidence.
-
No label
No evidence
No label means no evidence. It does not mean "made by a human", and fuAI never certifies anything as human.
Disclosed AI · AI-generated
File metadata
The file says it was made with AI: Credit="Made with Google AI" and IPTC DigitalSourceType = trainedAlgorithmicMedia. It isn't signed, so anyone could add or remove it.
Content Credentials (C2PA)
None in this copy. fuAI verifies Google's signed Content Credentials on the original file; this resized copy lost them, as most re-uploads do.
This is the actual image on this page, and the actual metadata inside it.
03 · Private by design
Nothing about you leaves your device.
Everything runs on your device: the evidence checks, the Content Credentials verification and the model itself. To check an image, fuAI re-reads it from the site you're on, without your cookies and without sending anything about you. It remembers your settings, recent results so it doesn't re-check the same image, and anonymous counts. All of it stays on your device, and you can clear it.

04 · Honest numbers
Good, not magic.
Yes, fuAI uses AI to catch AI. The irony is not lost on me. It's a small model trained for one job, spotting what image generators leave behind, to give the feed back to people who are tired of AI slop. It runs on your device, and it never makes anything.
about 6 in 10
AI images caught at the default setting, on held-out test images the model never saw in training.
about 1 in 300
real images flagged by mistake at that setting. Stricter and looser settings are one click away.
- Unlabeled AI on social feeds is the hard case: about 1 in 4 at the default setting, more at the looser settings, at the cost of more false alarms.
- Most AI images lose their Content Credentials when they are re-uploaded, so "Verified" is rare in feeds.
- Platform labels depend on people disclosing.
- Video checks read platform labels and sample frames. Video scores are not calibrated.
- fuAI always tells you which kind of evidence it has.
05 · The Human Room
A gallery for artists who make it themselves.
fuAI clears room in your feed. This is what we want to fill it with: work made without generative AI. Painters, photographers, illustrators, 3D artists, anyone. Brushes, cameras and editing tools are fine. Generators are not.
Open call. The walls are empty until the first works are approved. Every submission is read by a person.
Put your work in the room
06 · The Wall
Say it to the room.
Leave a note for the people building fuAI, and for everyone else who's had enough of slop. Notes go up after a person reads them.
The wall opens at launch. Be the first note on it.
07 · Free
No ads. No data sold.
fuAI is free to use, has no ads, and never sells or shares your browsing. It runs on your device, so it costs nothing to run for you.
It keeps getting stronger.
Chrome updates fuAI automatically, so every improvement reaches you without reinstalling. On the way, with no dates promised:
- A stronger image and video model
- Calibrated video detection
- More platforms: label readers for TikTok, X and Pinterest are built and switch on once they're verified
- Hiding AI search summaries
- Firefox and Edge versions
- Spotting bot-like comment patterns
Every new detector ships only after it passes held-out tests, and its false-alarm rate is published.
